William's Story

William Everett Wilson, 53, of Greensburg passed away on September 26, 2017. He was born on May 24, 1964 the son of Dan and Sarajane Wilson. Bill was a 1982 graduate of North Decatur High School. He was a farmer at Wilson Farms. Bill was a Mason, member of the Smyrna Lutheran Church, director at the Napoleon Fire Department, past member of the Fair Board, and a past director of the Power of the Past.
Survivors include: Father- Dan Wilson; Mother- Sarajane Wilson; Sons- Derek (Ali) Wilson and Evan Wilson; Daughter- Erica Wilson; Sisters- Beth (Clint) Miller, Bev Wilson, Bonnie (Joe) Weisenbach, Becky (Doug) Bohman; Brother- Ben (Melinda) Wilson; Grandson- Everett Wilson; several Nieces and Nephews. Bill was known by his nieces and nephews as Monkey Bill.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, September, 30, 2017 at 10:30 am also at the funeral home. Doug Brougher will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Smyrna Lutheran Cemetery.
