Pearl Vohland, 83, Batesville, formerly of Peppertown, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016, at The Waters of Batesville.
Born Aug. 8, 1932, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Robert and Sarah (Deaton) Riley. The homemaker was a 1950 graduate of Batesville High School. She married Big Jim Vohland, and he preceded her in death.
Pearl is survived by her children James Vohland (Valarie), Jeanette Vohland (Jim), Pam Seale (Ron), Patricia Dudley (David), Tim Vohland (Donna) and Tom Vohland (Kimberly). She will also be missed by her grandchildren Krissy and Andy; Tammy and Travis; Julie, Ricky and Samantha; Brandon and Derric; and Alex and Taylor, along with her great-grandchildren Sarah, Emily and Caleb; Halle, Jackson, Will and Gus; Reilly, Parker, Ryan, Tyler and Kylie; and Ethan and Harper.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings John, Blackman, Roy, Albert, Vernon, Wayne, Trickie, Roscoe, Maddie, Mal, Alpha, Mollie and Bea.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, from 3-6 p.m. at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville. Funeral services will be Monday, May 23, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Peppertown Cemetery.
