David Anthony Runyon, 45, a lifelong Franklin County area resident, passed away suddenly July 20, 2016, in Greensburg.
He was born Feb. 1, 1971, in Connersville to Robert and Linda Kay (Ball) Runyon. David married Lotchie Mercado Jan. 14, 2012, and she survives.
David was a 1990 Franklin County High School graduate. He drove a school bus in Batesville for nearly 20 years and had worked at WalMart in Rushville and Greensburg for nearly 20 years. He was a member of the Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church and loved the Lord.
In addition to his wife, Lotchie, of Franklin County, he is also survived by his parents, Robert and Linda Runyon, Brookville; a brother, Andrew (Dalia) Runyon, El Paso, Texas; a sister, Kristina Runyon, Brookville; a grandmother, Irene Ball, Brookville; two nieces; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Matthew Runyon, and grandfathers, Hamp Ball and Floyd Runyon.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 25, at the Buena Southern Baptist Church with Brother Rob Edwards presiding. Friends are welcome to visit at the church Sunday evening, July 24, from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
Moster Mortuary, Rushville, is entrusted with arrangements.
