Born April 7, 1938, in Decatur County, she was the daughter of John B. and Viola A. (Tichenor) Brancamp.
Wilma graduated from Napoleon High School in 1955. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greensburg, and a member of the St. Lawrence Ladies Auxiliary.
She married William E. Buening June 24, 1958, and he preceded her in death Aug. 11, 2013.
She is survived by two sons: Michael (Lisa) Buening, Nineveh, and Kenny (Nancy) Buening, Greensburg; three daughters: Theresa Caffee, Greensburg, Janet (Bob) Henry, Batesville, and Katrina (Rickey) Applegate, North Vernon; two sisters: Norma (Bob) Schreiner, Shelbyville, and Dorothy (Frank) Schreiner, Greensburg; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons-in-law: Junior Bowling and Bill Caffee; four brothers: John Brancamp, Leo Brancamp, Paul Brancamp and Clarence Brancamp; three sisters: Lillian Huff, Mary Ann Voiles and Pauline Fromer.
Family and friends will gather at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, to pray the rosary. Visitation will follow until 5 p.m. at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg. The family will also receive friends from 9-10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, followed by the funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greensburg.
Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Millhousen.
Memorials may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation or St. Mary's Church Building Fund.
