Sharon H. Berger, 58, Carmel, passed away November 27, 2017. She was born July 3, 1959, in Batesville, the daughter of the late Harold and Regina (Jacks) Holtel.
Sharon graduated high school from Immaculate Conception Academy (Oldenburg Academy). She received her Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from Butler University. She enjoyed a successful and fulfilling career as a pharmacist, serving and caring for others. She was an active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church for over 30 years. Her most fulfilling calling was as wife and mother to her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Val Berger; two sons, Andrew (Kimberly) Berger and Scott Berger; three sisters, Mimi (Bob) Ryan, Donna (Tom) Duffy, and Susan Arcy; and her beloved dogs, Lucy and Harvey.
Funeral Mass will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oakridge Road. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Merciful H.E.L.P. Center.
