The daughter of Edward and Adelaide (Enxel) Welage was born March 1, 1927, in Cincinnati. Mildred was a 1945 graduate of Greensburg High School. She married Walter Moeller Nov. 23, 1950, in Greensburg. She worked for Chas H. Johnson Sons and later in the cafeteria at the Greensburg schools for over 10 years.
Mildred was a member of the Greensburg Senior Center, Bunco Club, Daughters of Isabella and St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she helped cook for the funeral meals and also helped in the church office.
Survivors include daughters Teresa Bavender, Mary Beth (Roger) Wenning, Martha (Jim) Fisher and Ruth (Mark) Haeufle; sons Vincent (Pat) Moeller, Mark (Gaye) Moeller and Dan Moeller; sister Marjorie (Wayman) Mahan; brothers Roger (Mary Ann) Welage and Vincent (Phyllis) Welage; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Robert Welage, Richard Welage, Edward Welage and Leonard Welage; and sister Marie Oliger.
A rosary will be prayed Tuesday, April 5, at 3 p.m. followed by a visitation for family and friends from 4-8 p.m. at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, 110 E. North St., Greensburg. A funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 6, at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 1 p.m. with Father John Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
